Personal Background

This memorial website was created by Nancy Roose in loving memory of David Bennett. David was born on 01.01.1984 and sadly passed away on 01.01.2005 at the age of 21. David is missed greatly by family and friends and will be remembered forever.

David was born in Lansing, Michigan. He was out little Mister Twister! David was always independent, we never seemed to have to worry about him. When we lived in Lansing he had a best friend Kenny. They were always togeather. David loved the cartoon He-Man so much he wanted name his litle brother He-Man when he was born. David loved his brother and sister and although he would pick on his sister like all brothers do, they became best friends. They did things togeather, confided in each other, valued each others opinion and called each other every day. I think david not only was a big brother, to his brother Kevin, but felt like he had to be a dad too. Yes, he would pick on him like a brother, but was always looking our for him too. You didnt want to mess with Davids brother or sister.

When we moved to grand ledge, David found it easy to make new friends. He even managed to make friends with kids he was afraid of when he was younger. David was a jokester. He loved to make people laugh, I miss his smile and I mss his laugh.

David loved to golf with his friends and brother and step dad. He was proud of the set of clubs he bought on the base because he got such a good deal. He even played golf in Dubai with the officers when he was in the airforce. When he would come home for the weekend, he would call his step-dad, Rich, and say make a tee time for us.

David loved to have fun, and life just isnt as much fun without him!

We all miss you and love you david!
